♪ ♪♪ ♪ All along the watchtower Princes kept the view ♪ ♪ While the women came and went.
Barefoot servants too.
♪ ♪ Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl ♪ ♪ Two riders were approaching and the wind began to howl.
♪ ♪ When a cop pulled him over to the side of the road ♪ ♪ Just like the time before and the time before that ♪ ♪ In Paterson thats just the way things go ♪ ♪ If youre black you might as well not show up on the street ♪ ♪ Less you wanna draw the heat ♪ ♪♪
