Prescription drug abuse robbed the lives of 16 thousand Americans last year. That’s more than those who overdosed from heroin and cocaine combined. Nearly a thousand of those deaths were here in our bi-state. Yet, Missouri is the only state in the nation without a prescription drug monitoring program. This American Public Square community discussion analyzes the issue.
