Murphy is the first U.S. governor to visit Ukraine since the war began
Gov. Phil Murphy and first lady Tammy Murphy made an unannounced stop in Ukraine Thursday, before the governor’s scheduled participation at the Munich Security Conference in Germany on Friday. While in Ukraine, the Murphys met with political leaders, members of the Ukrainian military and refugees, including children who have been orphaned by the war.
