Schools are centerpieces of communities. They're also often at the crossroads of culture wars and of COVID-19 protocols. Thousands of educators from across the country are coming to Chicago to debate public education policies. The National Education Association is holding its annual meeting in the city. The union's president spoke with Amanda Vinicky today.
