Menendez, Booker tell Schultz that employees have 'commonsense demands'
U.S. Sens. Bob Menendez and Cory Booker are urging Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz to stop delaying negotiations with employees of four unionized New Jersey Starbucks stores. Workers at the stores in Hopewell Township, Hamilton, Summit and Montclair have been waiting between six and 10 months for a first collective bargaining agreement, as required by the National Labor Relations Act.
