Large drop in ridership during pandemic makes service unsustainable, company says
The oldest, private bus company in the state, DeCamp, is set to end all commuter service on April 7. The company was once a premier transportation line between New Jersey’s suburbs and New York City -- on the 33, 66, 44, 99 routes and more. But ridership has dropped significantly since the start of the pandemic and the company says its commuting service is no longer sustainable.
